Terms of Use
Last updated: May 30, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the patient website at litecare.ai, related intake and scheduling tools, and associated content (collectively, the "Site"), operated by LiteCare Medical Group PLLC ("LiteCare," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Separate informed consent, HIPAA notices, and program agreements apply when you enroll in care. Those documents control clinical and privacy obligations for treatment; these Terms control use of the Site itself.
Who operates the Site
LiteCare Medical Group PLLC operates litecare.ai for patient intake, consent, payment, and appointment scheduling. Clinical information you provide is transferred to and maintained in Charm EHR, our practice electronic health record.
Telehealth visits may use third-party videoconferencing (for example, Zoom) under contract. Those vendors provide technology only; they do not provide medical care.
Permitted use
You may use the Site only for lawful personal purposes related to obtaining information about or receiving services from LiteCare while located where our physicians are authorized to treat you.
You must provide accurate information, keep login or session credentials confidential where applicable, and not use the Site for emergencies. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department for emergencies.
Prohibited conduct
You may not, and may not assist others to:
- Copy, scrape, mirror, frame, or republish the Site or its content for another practice or commercial product without our written permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, APIs, or data models except as law expressly allows.
- Use automated tools (bots, crawlers) to access the Site in a way that burdens our systems or circumvents access controls.
- Remove copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.
- Introduce malware, interfere with security, or access accounts or data that are not yours.
- Misrepresent your identity, location, or clinical information.
Intellectual property
The Site, including its design, text, graphics, logos, workflows, intake questionnaires, and software, is owned by LiteCare Medical Group PLLC or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other laws.
The names LiteCare and LiteCare Medical Group PLLC and associated branding are used to identify our practice. Unauthorized use may violate trademark law.
No medical advice on the Site
Information on the Site is for general education and intake only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Only your treating physician can make clinical decisions after reviewing your history and applicable law.
AI-assisted documentation or intake tools, where described, support physician review; they do not replace licensed clinical judgment.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LITECARE AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR SITE-RELATED CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE TRANSACTION GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
Third-party services
The Site may link to or integrate payment processors (for example, Stripe), electronic health record systems (Charm EHR), scheduling tools, and communications platforms. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and privacy policies.
Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on the Site with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where federal law applies. Exclusive venue for disputes relating to the Site lies in courts located in Texas, subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.
